l just got my first car and its an automatic subaru wrx 2002 and im wondering what l should do to it aftermarket its silver and stalk

if your smart you will not modify your car performancewise. And you will try to enjoy it as is . l would maybe get coilovers and some new wheels and tires.But if you do have the bug to mod.aftermarket downpipe/full exhaust , and an intake.a boost controller if you wanna get alil crazy.

it is a subaru, so it is a fun drive as it is. my suggestion is the same thing: coilovers, bigger rims, an intake and an exhaust, and nothing else.

thing is, it is an automatic. you probably wo not feel the ''performance'' you just spent on.

Drive the car first & modify what u want to improve. Do u want power/suspension/braking etc? l will give u a brief recommendation for those three areas.

Power- First select ur engine management (Acessport/Hydra/Open Source/ Euteck) r all good choices. Next is a quaility turboback with either a gutted uppipe or aftermarket & a reflash with ur chosen engine management.

Suspension- l recommend a good set of front & rear swaybars & matching endlinks. l personally run Cobb is swaybars & kartboy endlinks.

Braking- A good set of performance pads will work wonders. l like EBC Greenstuff.

Oh & ignore the ones who will tell u to buy an intake/bov/boost controller as they r misinformed.

Great car.
Exhaust, get the most from that engine.
Dont chip it, chipping is overrated and can totally stuff it up.
Lightweight it, remove all unnessicary weight.
Increase the turbo boost.
Increase the engine cooling, and tweek the timing and other engine stuff
Make the transmission faster, lighter flywheel, driveshaft, etc.
Tyres are a good thing too, get yourself a great set.
And finally
