l know the short throw shifter used to be sold as an option before 07 but if l can remember right l think they made it standard on the 07 STI. Just making sure.

l am sure it does. That is a pretty awesome car. l could not see the car without it.

l am 90% sure it is still a option do to the fact that it is not as common to people using the car to daily drive the to go fast and just throw it in to 2nd 3rd 4th

Yes,the stock throw is shorter than the WRX, but there is an optional kit to shorten it even more. There are also cheaper aftermarket kits that do the same thing. I'd go that way, why spend more?
