SCAM! As the price of fuel rises, u will see more of these scams.

On a gasoline engine, no chip is going to make the improvements this company claims.

This so called chip sounds to me like a variation of the 100K resistor in the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) trick.

This is not a programmer that plugs into the computer diagnostic port. It is only a disguised resistor to replace a sensor

How this works, in theory, this device fools the engine management computer into thinking that the air entering the engine is about 32 degrees. The engine management computer adds more fuel to the fuel / air mixture & advances the ignition timing to compensate which is supposed to increase power. In reality, when the oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold detects the rich fuel condition, it shortens the fuel injector pulses to correct the fuel / air mixture, canceling the effects of this device.

l have personally tried the Intake Air Temperature modification on several cars with mixed results. Sometimes it gives some improvements, but never more than 10%. Sometimes it does nothing at all. And frequently, it mess up the fuel air mixture to the point that the car belches black smoke from the exhaust & runs so poorly that the device must be removed.

Even when it works, the effects r less on a cool day. The cooler the outside air temperature, the less the effects r on the engine.

Did u ever hear the saying ''A fool & his money r soon parted.''

some similar chips for older cars ie anything older then 1990 they do but not quite as much but for something newer yes but only slightly but not worth the cost for 5hp 2ft-lbs and .5mpg but if you take your car in to a tuner shop and have it tuned there they can usually make numbers like that for about 100 bucks. usually

That is a scam. But do not count out engine management though. Thare are programs out there that can increase power and mileage but they cost quite a bit. l gained over 50hp from an exhaust and a tune on my turbocharged car. If your car is not turbocharged, than nothing short of turbocharging will give you that much power.

No. That is a cheap little transistor you can buy at any electrical supply store for about a quarter.
