Do you like Subarus and mazdas

My second car was a 1979 or 80 Subaru 1600DL. l wish l could find another one. It was a great car.

My friend had a Mazda RX-4 with the rotary engine. That thing could fly.

Have owned both. If you do not want to keep the car forever and want something cheaper on gas go with the Mazda. If it is a car you will pay off and keep for sometime afterwards go with the Subaru. After the warranty runs out, though, the Mazda will be cheaper to fix, tires, breaks, etc.

l own a 2002 Impreza WRX & my wife owns a 2006 Mazda 3. l get 25 mpg in the WRX & 35 mpg in the Mazda. In the snow the WRX dominates, but on long cross country road trips & in town driving the Mazda 3 is a easy going fun car & is more efficient.

l however hate the Mazda 6. It is made in the US by Ford motor company, do not believe it check the VIN#, & the car is mounted on the Ford Taurus chassis. l have also noticed giant power issues & efficency errors in the 6 as well.

l have a legacy and a yota' Tacoma. The Legacy is way faster than a mazda 6 because of the heavy chassis on the mazda. l actually raced a mazda in my truck and it was really close( l lost) but that just proves a 2.7L truck is just as fast as some mazda. Subarus in comparison are very well made and get pretty good MPGs

The biggest thing to consider is the resale value. The Subaru will hold it is value much better than a Mazda. So if you decide to trade in in a few years, the Subaru will be a much better car to be trading in than the Mazda. Plus the Subaru is a much more reliable and safer car than the Mazda. l would never ever buy a Mazda.

l like Subaru more than Mazda, but Mazda is okay.

Subaru, you paying what you got, plus all those standard equipments (ABS, AWD, warranty).

Mazda, you may get a higher mpg, and maintaince may cause little less than Subaru.

If you are in the northern region of US or even in Canada, you will realize how many subarus are on the road while less Mazdas.

Japanese car- Never a good idea.
