my 91 sube legacy is having some problems....

headlights dimming and windows do not roll down (automatic)...help it is not the battery, l just put a new one in....a day ago

Sounds like the alternator is not supplying enough power. You should have it checked.

Is it all the windows or just the driver is side? If it is all of them, look for a blown fuse. If it is just the driver side, perhaps the switch or the window motor.

Use a multimeter and check the battery voltage while the engine is running. It should be over 14v. If not...alternator issues.

As far as the windows, same question as before, all or some or one of the windows? Check the window motor relay. If the window power fuse is okay, the relay is the next in line to inspect because it supplies the power to the fuse.
