l have a '02 Legacy Outback 2.5L with 89K. l am sure it has the phase Il engine. l have a Coolant problem that Service Bulliten WWP-99 covers due to the sweet smell of burning Coolant, slow loss ofthe Coolant fill from the tank, and very,very light exterior antifreeze drippings from the bottom of the engine. Will the Coolant Conditioner definetly help me out until l can afford to do the head gaskets or is this a too late thing for my Subaru? And if l were to add the treatment in and later on decide on a flush and fill, do l need to add more of the treatment in after each time a coolant flush is done?

Sounds like a ''miracle chemical'' .... Subaru is are known for head gasket issues.. l use to work for Subaru. Your gonna need head gaskets if it already weeping, or dripping...
Do head gaskets, no ''treatment'' ever needed. do the gaskets before you cost yourself more $$ by getting stranded in the middle of no-where... with a blown up motor.. spend a thousand or whatever now.. or spend thousands more later. you decide..

Subaru recommends the treatment always be used in their systems but it wo not help with your problem.

If it is leaking coolant then it is already too late. Do not drive ur car or u risk warping the cylinder bores. The coolant conditioner bulletin was dated for use back when ur car was 2 - 3 years old & is therefore a time sensitive measure. The use of non Subaru coolant causes the deterioration of the headgaskets & thus the leaks. This engine is all aluminum & must use the proper coolant with the proper additives. Also the bulletin states that the coolant additive is a first measure only & not a fix. But for $4 a bottle, it can not make things any worse than they are.
