ANything wrong with it???? Im looking to buy a used Subaru 2001 subaru sedan with 62,000 miles on it with one owner... what do you think?

Subarus are typically not the car to buy. As a mechanic l have seen premature engine and transmission failure..

l love Subarus. Nothing has gone wrong with the 5 subarus I've owned except the normal wear and tear. Thats a good deal with the miles. All my subarus I've had for at least 10 years. Right now l have a 1990 Subaru Legacy. Runs like a charm

Subarus are wonderful cars. l have 4 in our family now - ranging in age from '98 to 2008. l have never had a single problem with any of them. Just keep up the required maintenance.

Great cars, but check the headgaskets.

It might be due soon for some other maintenance, too. l do not know if those have the 100k mile timing belts on them or not. But that is something u definitely want to stay on top of. Better safe than sorry, if it goes the motor is pretty much toast.

But other than the headgasket issue (which is completely alleviated if fixed correctly the first time) & typical Subaru front axle replacement intervals, the care should only need typical wear items for the life of the vehicle. The car should be golden for another 240k miles. :)

Excellent car and very cool. Rock-solid reliability and go-anywhere AWD. A great buy.
