It kind of depends on what car u r going to swap this engine into. Depending on the car, u will need more than just the engine so l would just keep hounding a local wrecking yard till a wrecked ST l comes in & try to buy the whole thing. that way u have everything u need including ECU & wiring. If u r just swapping into an 02 or newer WRX & just want the motor, try forums like NASIOC.com, clubwrx.net, i-club.com, or iwsti.com & check the classified sections & l am sure there r some for sale.

l bought a very good low mileage forester xt engine on ebay for a decent price. ST l motors are on there regularly, usdm, and jdm.

Just the engine or you are trying to swap out the old one? Try ebay, there are few seller can sell you a so call ''frontal cut'' which included everything, engine, transmission, hood, front fenders, axles, front brakes.

That way you can get some other parts that was installed with your new car engine.

Try searching on google or on JDM websites. You might want the STi transmission too. Remember the JDM engine is 2.0L and USDM is 2.5L
