me n my pal have driven from north east england to the south of france & to greece.., we used to channel tunnel both times . it was ace. long journey tho. to south of france from calais to perpignan was 12hrs flat . that included toilet breaks. & petrol stops. it was a while ago now so the prices wouldnt be the same. best way to calculate it for ur car would be to find out how many miles u get to the tank. then work out the calculated mileage to where youre going. it may not be totally accurate but it will give u a good indication.. & dont forget there r lots of toll roads in europe! it took 2 & a 1/2 days to drive to greece. ( we spent 24hrs on the boat from italy to greece)
