l prob shoulda waited and got an Sti but my first car is a 2006 automatic subaru legacy, the things slow, please help what can l do to boost the horsepower and increase proformance. Thanks very much

Do not bother. The H-4 has a long history of being a garbage motor, and increasing its output will only shorten its life.

There is nothing garbage about ur engine. It is just not a performance oriented motor. You can do all the bolt on is & will only feel a little bump in power. So instead of spending the money on all that, l would just get a cat back exhaust for the look & sound. After that work on the suspension. A nice set of springs & bigger sway bars will make the car feel completely different. Of all l did to my WRX, the suspension mods r the most rewarding. As far as power goes, u can also change the headers, high flow cat, intake, & a lighter crank pulley & u might get another 15 HP but it is not worth the 1000 bucks or so it will cost.
