Where is the starter located on a 1999 subaru outback? is it hard to replace?

Easy job, The starter is on the right hand side (as you look at it with the bonnet open) of the engine bay at the back. Bolted on with two 14mm head bolts. The only other bolt is the 12mm that secures the battery lead to the starter.
Dont forget to disconect the battery before removing!
