has anyone bought the new diesel subaru, can you tell me what its like, l am thinking about buying one, whats there performance like for a diesel

l just heard about this yesterday.
But having owned diesel cars l can tell you 2 things. 1. Lots of torque. 2. Great gas mileage.
l cant wait until they are here in the states.

l used a diesel legacy outback on monday, & was very suprised! Very quiet (for a diesel), & pulls extremely well especially from low down thanks to that diesel torque. l would say more powerful to drive than the 2.0 petrol, but obviously not as effortfull as the 6 cylinder cars. It is a very modern unit, using common rail like a petrol car. Its on a par with the audi diesels! As a long devotee of petrol Subaru l wanted to hate it but just couldnt. l reckon there will be few petrol foresters & legacys sold in the next few years, & the older cars will probably lose thier value a little quicker. Your local agent will let u have a test drive on request if u r considering buying?
