Just like the title says.l just installed the SPT Intake Kit on my 07 WRX, but every so often, the air filter keeps slipping off and l have to put it back on.

l have tried tightening the hose clamp even tighter, cleaning both the filter and the intake hose where it connects, to see if it will hold. It does hold...for a few days, and then the filter again slips off.It seems that the intake assembly itself is a little too 'slippery to hold the air filter, even with the hose clamp.

So, anyone with the SPT Intake Kit out there can tell me the secret of having their air filters staying put!!? Thanks!!!

Try sanding down the outside of the tube and the inside of the silicone of the filter a little. Also if the kit came with cheap clamps then try T Bolt clamps. They hold way better. Other than that l would not do too many wide open throttle driving as the intake is known to make the car run lean. Not really a good mod for our cars.
