My favorite car is the 2006 Subaru Wrx Sti. And the problem is im in college and insurance is quite high. I am estimating by my 21st b-day l will have saved $11,000. Is the STl worth 2 1/2 years of waiting?or would l be better off with just getting a tC now? My parents will probably put me under their insurance (as secondary) and pay for it and l will be paying for the car.

ST l ALL THE WAY. those cars arent anywhere near the same level when it comes to looks & performance. the tc is more like a girls car. dont make that mistake. sti come with 300hp plus all wheel drive. not only that but a much better warranty. oh & its turbo charged..im a honda owner so im neutral when it comes to other cars. but l love sti's. its a different breed of car. think of it like this.when it comes to 4 cyl a scion is like a v6 automatic mustang & an sti is like a 2008 c6 zo6 corvette..stick to ur sti. good chice by that way.

wait the 2.5 years, awd and 300hp is not something you want to drive by you in a tC and then you regret it. it will definetely be worth the little bit extra insurance, especially if you are a secondary on your parents insurance, go for it.

Get the STI. Its a better car. If you want to go for transport and all that, how about by a cheap car, preferably second hand which has suffered the worst of its depreciation effects. Otherwise wait for the car you REALLY want. It will be totally worth it.
