OK, IS THE BOV BAD AND WHICH ADJUSTMENT SHOULD l PUT IT ON 50/50OR100%ATMOSPHERE OR 100% RERICS...l HAVE A TURBO XS BOV 100% RERICS IS THAT BETTER? ITS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO RUN HIGH BOOST IS FOR RACING..

a bov isnt bad it just isnt needed the stock one works perfectly fine it just doesnt make the sound of the aftermarket ones. unless your a vpc it must be recirculated. if its not the car will run like crap.. also you dont need a tune with those parts.

The stock bypass valve recirculates the vented air back int the intake after the MAF sensor so the ECU automatically increases fuel for that second. When u vent any of the air atmospherically u r throwing off the A/F mixture because the ECU does not know it is not getting the air so it is best to recirculate fully. There is no way to tune around this unless u switch to a blow through MAF system. The intake is another mod that tricks the ECU into thinking it is getting more air than it is so u should tune for it right away. Actually u have a lot of research to do before modding because u r going to cause some damage to ur engine pretty quickly going the way u are. these r not Hondas, our ECU is r very picky of change. Be careful.

personally, l would have kept the stock by pass valve.. r u running such high boost levels because u have tons of modifications & u need the aftermarket by pass valve? probably not or else u would not need to ask this basic question

put the stock by pass valve back, sell the turbo xs part on ebay, & purchase parts that actually help you, such as a chip or turbo back exhaust

also, unless the intake is a SPT part it could be messing up ur motor by giving an incorrect signal to the airflow sensor due to differences in the pipe diamater, or changes in the airflow sensor location

next time, research first then buy the parts. it will save u money & prevent u from doing damage to ur vehicle from improper modifications

running ur BPV/ BOV at 100% atmospheric is totally contradictory to the stock fuel map ( the stock BPV is
%100 recirc, & the ECM is calibrated to adjust for it).. & with the SRI/CAI/ RAM intake u will be running extremely lean/ rich during shifts..a tune is ideal to maximize any gain from the mods that u have, but not absolutely necessary unless u plan on running the car hard for extended periods with those mods. though it will keep the car driveable between those conditions.
