the Subaru is not even in the same class as a Volvo. Subaru is are an environmentalists nightmare. they all are going to leak oil, thru the valve covers, rear main seal, and oil pump seal. not that l care for Volvo is either. the Japanese build for the most part a better car

l do not know where you are coming from on this one.
Saab and Subaru did some co-ventures, but not Volvo.
Ford and Volvo are together, and Ford sold some names off. But Volvo was not on the list.
There have been no rumors of Ford getting tied up with Subaru either.
But there is the chance that GM via a Saturn-Saab deal may get a piece of Subaru.

Hmmm.. l just bought a Subaru. l hope its as safe as a Volvo. But l thought Volvo quality went down when they were bought by Ford.
