Do l have to worry a lot if l do COBB Stage 2 AP, 3inch TBE, STlTMIC, on a 04-05 wrx with the stock tranny and if l upgrade the clutch , im never going to launch this car just when ever theres open road l ussualy just hit the gas from 2-4 but im not really dumping the clutch or going pas 4-5 rpms should l worry about the tranny going out?

Transmissions in those cars are made of glass.

l have a 05 STi with stage 2 and l run it hard all the time. l have always maitainced it myself but l have put 15,000miles on stage 2 and havnt seen a problem with the tranny yet

02 and 03 have the weaker trannys

and even they will take a good bit of abuse..

just do not launch the poop out of it and you should be fine.
