Subaru is my favorite brand since it has gave me more happiness than deceptions. Subaru is a brand from FUJ l HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO. LTD. Japan.

Not only the Symmetrical All Wheel Drive of subaru makes it the best choice. Subaru is Boxer engine is more efficient & brings more stability to the cars in all matters.

if u want to know what a boxer engine is, then look at this link:

Im the proud owner of a 2006 Subaru Forester & a 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

Subaru wont let u down.
l can assure you

Fuji Heavy Industries makes the Sub. They also build trains & ships & construct buildings all over Japan. Fuji builds strong. l have owned three subarus already & my next car is likely to be another, the Forester.

l have lived all over the United States, now in Australia, & want reliability, without flash. That is the Sub.

l want a quiet engine, low power (good miles) & wide-spread service. That is a Sub.

l want four drive wheels. l may need it on snow. That is a Sub.

l want clean design. No extras. That (for the most part) is a Sub. l note some of the features of the outback gravitate to other models & do not care to see that. But they r not that perfect.

l have owed, VWs, Chevs, Toyotas, a Nissan (now), dodge trucks (one made by the Japanese), a Suzuki.probably one or so others.but first consideration next round will again be a Subaru. Runners up will be Toyotas, then maybe a Honda.nothing designed or built in the USA (sorry about that Detroit)..

Cheers & good luck.

l dont own one but friends have them & love them very much.

The best l can do is add link this free site, the site gives reviews from owners & not sellers.

At least this way u will be getting info on the models u like & not opinions, and not just ones that may have been fine as we all know with any car there r the good ones & the dummies.

Info below on Subaru as a company.

l own a 2002 Subaru Outback Sport with 72,300 miles. If you've ''grown up around Honda and Toyota'' and are familiar with their reliability, then Subaru is the same or better in reliability, plus the AWD =)

Subaru headquarters r in Ota, Gunma, Japan

l have had 2 Subarus, & have had no problems with either in over 10 years. No, wait, a fog lamp just recently burned out - but other than that - no problems, mechanical or otherwise.

l currently own a 2003 WRX with 60000 miles (previous owned car had 180000 miles when l sold it - to get a new car).
My neighbor has a Legacy, another neighbor has an Outback & my aunt has an Impreza -- all r satisfied.

l do not think u will be disappointed in Subaru.

My wife now drives the 4th Subaru we've had since we got together nearly 18 years ago. 1st 2 have over 250,000 miles when we got ride of them. Both were front wheel drive one an 88 GL wagon the other a 89 DL. We got them both used. Then we went American for a while, had a Mercury Mystique got less than a year old & it was a pain, l put less than 80,000 miles on it & spent more in repairs than on the car. Wanted another Subaru but could not afford what we wanted so went with a Chevy mini van (young kids & all) it was fine but we moved to an area where we needed 4 or AWD. And could not keep the van, sold it to my brother. Next car a year old Legacy wagon, great car no problems loved it. Got hit by a 10 wheel truck head on over a year ago. Miner physical injuries to me & my wife. l was driving & do not do much of that any more, anyway the fact we r still alive we went right out & got another Subarau. This time less than a year old Forester. Great car. Had to have 2 of the auto lock is replaced but it is still under warranty. Has less than 23,000 on it now, plan on the 250G we got out of the 1st 2 Subarau is provided God protect is us & we do not git hit by another vehical.

Depending on what model u get they r either made in North America or Japan. I've delt with a few dealers accross the country with this brand & find them to be honest & easyer to work with than the other car dealer is I've gone to for service.

l work for a Subaru dealer and aslong as you keep up the maintence they will run and run. We have customers will well over 100,000 miles on them.
Being AWD they are one of the best vehicles in the snow.

l now own a Forester (great car) had it souped up a bit with some after market upgrades. Have in the past owned an Impreza & a Legacy (both had damage when l got them). Have had good service with all & would not hesitate to continue buying Subaru. The AWD system is awesome & very little can hold these cars down. The parts r made in Japan & assembled in America. The Subarus run boxer engines which give a bit of pep & boxers r also used in Porsche for performance. l recommend Subaru.
