It is very little. A full exhaust including headers, Intake and a lighter crank pully might give you 15 to .20 at the wheels. l would suggest spending the money on a nice suspension setup and you will enjoy driving the car more than if you add 15 HP.

9-12 hp is a dream, purported by tuner magazine ads. You'd probably get two to four hp. Certainly nothing you will feel. The most noticable difference will be an increase in intake noise.

l dont think you should expect much power increase. you will for sure get more noise when you hit the gas.

honestly l would not bother modifying the engine of a non turbo subaru. just get better tires and leave the car alone

The SPT intake by itself will do very little for a non turbo motor. But that is not to say there is not a lot of power waiting to be let loose. The best way to get noticeable gains is to help the engine breathe better, in which case, u will need a cold air intake (CAI) system, as well as a high flow, larger diameter exhaust. This means from the engine back. Header, high flow cats, & a low restriction muffler. l am not sure what the actual gains are, but it does make a noticeable difference in power. Check out nasioc.com. They have a forum devoted to N/A Subarus.. they can point u in the right direction.

Are we referring to an short ram or a cold air system? In either event not much. 2-10 whp depending on dyno used, air temp, elevation. Your talking about modifying a low horsepower/ torque vehicle there are not going to be great gains from bolt-ons.

the better you can make any car breath the more power and better gas millage you will get
