Stick to the OEM platinum spark plugs. There is no benefit to pay a lot more for iridium on an N/A car. As far as wires go, check out Rallitek.com for some good wires available in different colors.

the OE plugs and wires are just fine, you are not going to see more power from aftermarket plugs and wires. the only instances you see gains from ignition mods is in high demand/high output systems.

your money will be better spent on upgrades that will make a noticable difference in your car, tires, suspension, etc.

Plain copper plugs will produce the most power because they r the best conductor available in a spark plug. Silver is the best conductor, but way too soft. The downside to copper plugs is u have to change them more often. The other fancier metals r used because they r physically harder & will not wear down as fast, most people do not want to mess with changing plugs on a DOHC Subaru engine (It is super simple in my turbo SOHC).

NGK makes nice silicone wires & u might want to see what the core size is on the OEM wires. Some people like Magnecor because they r supposed to last forever, but they do not & have fitment issues.

So NGK or new OEM wires plus copper plugs will give u the most power. If u want a steady amount of power for longer (to keep from changing more often), then go iridium or the OEM spark plug.
