Hey guys l am trying to purchase a catback/exhaust and test pipe the whole set up for my Subaru. but does anyone know which brand has the most deeper tone in exhaust? l love those Boxer Engines!!!! HKS? GREEDY? SKUNK?

Definitely not skunk. For power, probably HKS or GREDDY. For sound, Tanabe or Borla. Those have a really deep throaty sound.

First, when u say test pipe do u mean the cat pipe or down pipe? If ur car is an 04 or newer, do u know the dangers of this mod without tuning? Make sure u have some kind of engine management before thinking about anything more than a cat back. An after market down pipe on the stock tune can cause a serious boost spike at full throttle & could cause engine failure. You sound like u just got the car & r pretty excited about it & that is cool but l hate for ur next question to be ''my engine blew & l do not know why''. l would join NASIOC.com & do lots of research before doing any power mods & work on the suspension in the mean time. As far as the best cat back goes, there is none. Most brand names r going to be 3'' pipe with the muffler being the main difference. Some taper to 2 1/2 '' right after the down pipe for fitment to both OEM & after market down pipes but it wo not effect flow of power output unless u run a bigger turbo. l personally like Blitz for the best sound & look. It is known as one of the loudest in the Subaru community. But be warned that it is really loud & will attract a lot of unwanted attention if u can not keep ur foot off the gas in town. For something a little tamer, l would choose the Perrin twin tip. Has a very deep growl but just not as loud & a very stealthy look with the 2 tips.
