Can l make a ram air kit using the fog lamp location on a 2002 subaru wrx, and if so does anyone sell this or have tried making it themselves. Pictures are great if you can. l wanna see how it is done.

l have been wondering this myself but their is a way people do it. this picture shows the covers that go over the fog lights. covers like this will work on any subaru fog lights. thats all l know. l added Another link that shows the system

A true ram air is pointless on a turbocharged car because once the air is sucked into the turbo & blown out the other side, boost is pre set so it wo not make a difference in the amount of air actually being forced into the engine. If u r just asking about a dryer hose type thing to blow air to the filter like the Honda guy is do, the stock system already does this from the front of the engine bay. Your WRX has a cold air intake from the factory. If u have an aftermarket intake, then u want to jack the car up & remove the wheel & fender liner to run something from the fog light to the intake area. Sorry for the long answer but u were not clear on what u r trying to do or about ur current set up.

to be quite honest the stock air box on the wrx is more than enough air flow for your car until around 375ish hp then you should go with a cold air. the problem with the ram air as you call it lol when it rains you could pick up water in your intake.
