Nothing needed for maintenance other than the fluid changes. The ST l turbo is even designed to cool it self properly after shut down so no need for a turbo timer. As far as the gravel & tarmac, that is in the EVO & is similar to the DCCD in the STI. Basically controlling how much the center diff does fro different surfaces. In the ST l it is best left in auto & let the computers make the adjustments. The center diff adjusts the difference in torque going to the front & back wheels.

the dccd allows u to change from 31% in the front & 69% in the rear to 50%-50%. when in 50-50 mode the car drives more like a 4 wheel drive truck. when u make a sharp turn u will feel it push the front wheels. if u want to have some fun, go to a empty parking lot & do a couple of doughnuts with the dccd on & off, u will get a better understanding of what this system does. tarmac is pavement, like l <3 my suby said this option is in the evos. as far as maintance goes, change ur oil when ur sopposed to & use a good oil, run preimium gas & u will be good to go.
