My car is stock except for a K&N filter and a Megan Racing CBE + catless downpipe.l also have a Cobb Accessport for it. The sound from a BOV is cool and all, but if it will not benefit me, l am cool with living without it and saving $.Also, any suggestions on next upgrade(s)?

It really depends on ur driving style & if u track the car. The BOV will vent the air that used to be routed back to the intake, the computer will still think it is getting that air & increase fuel flow for a split second. Without the air, u run very rich between shifts. Now some say this can damage ur motor & some say it is not enough to do much damage. l think if it is a street car, u r fine but do u really want to risk it? If u want a little more sound, u can either remove the silencer in the fender of change to an aftermarket intake & u will hear the sound quite a bit more. There will be no benefit to run an aftermarket BOV until u r pushing over 20lbs of boost with an upgraded turbo. The stock one does it is job very well till then.
As far as the next step, l would get a Protune done. It will make quite a difference. But if u r getting a tune done, l would think about an upgraded intercooler & maybe a turbo inlet. But l think l would work on suspension before more power if u have not done any yet. The Bilstein system on the Spec-B is very good but can be made much better.

Unless u r pushing a good amount of boost (20psi+) l would not waste ur money on a BOV. Most people install the blow off for display or to try to turn heads. You sound like u already have a great set-up, & a superb car, l would spend that money on something else. If u bought a GReddy BOV with all the plumbing & flanges u r looking around $300+ for it, not installed of course. With that u could get a true cold air kit from Injen or AEM, & actually see gains. You could also finish ur exhaust plumbing, or an up-pipe & cold air intake. The possibilities r endless. If u want ur bov to sound cool buy a Neon SRT-4, but if u want to be the fastest, save ur money for something a little less auto-zone style.
