l have an Outback and live in an area with some pretty
fierce radio traffic and thus my FM adapters have trouble but I am not up for having a connection hardwired in my car.What is a good way of getting my Ipod to work, any really effective FM transmitters?

Why do not you look into a different receiver that has an ipod connection built in. Check the site below - good prices, you can pick one that will fit your car, and they include for free the installation instructions and all the wiring you need.

Fm transmitter is pretty much the only way if you dont want it hardwired..

Why dont you want it hardwired tho? It will give you the highest quality sound. l have an Alpine deck in my car with the high speed direct connection to the bottom of my Ipod and l LOVE it.

It sucks, but there is no way unless there is an aux input. If you dont see AUX as one of the radio buttons then you do not have it and there is no way of changing the radio because the HVAC and the radio use the same face.

Maybe there is something that T is off of the Antenna wire behind the radio that would sound much better than a modulator. l would check crutchfield.com.
