It is time to change it.

Some car makers say every 60K miles while some say every 90K miles. l would do it every 5 years just because the rubber ages and it could break from dry rot.

We did ours at five years with 64K.

l believe that if you check your owner is manual, the recommended interval for the timing belt is around 100,000 miles.

If your not realy sure, l would do it. the 400-600$ that it takes to change it, is a lot less than it is to fix it.

l will say around now since 68000 is the recorded miles what about the miles incurred while in idle mode
