My family members and l have major latex allergies.Do we have to worry about latex in our airbags?

never thought of that l better call my dealer and talk to them but l think they are mostly talc and cloth

l would think not.

Latex has a tendency to ''dry rot'' over the years and since they have to guarantee the airbags for the life of the car, l do not think they would use something that is know to rot out.

remember that airbags have caustic chemicals in them by design, some normal people r blinded by airbags.
l would suggest getting front airbags removed as long as u wear ur seat belts.

and,
close ur eyes when it is to late to do anything more before u hit something.

also carry water in a very strong container that u keep in the trunk so that u can wash out ur eyes after the airbags go off so that u do not have to live with no vision.

front airbags r really bad things in my opinion.
but l really like side air bags

if ur airbags r set off, the least of ur worries will be latex.
everyone has problems with chemicals that dissolve ur skin

remember subaru airbags r the safe design, they kill very few people.
