I am looking at asubaru impresa to buy cause winter is coming, l need a all wheel drive carare they reliable are the parts expensive?

you bet. they do great in the snow and are prettty darn reliable. and parts are not too expensive. l would get one. they are very good cars.

l will say from personal experience that not all general mechanics r familiar with the design of Subarus. Parts r not all that expensive, but they r more expensive than for larger ''bread & butter'' brands.

l will also say that, with a good set of winter tires, u really will not believe what a Subaru can do in the snow. They may not be stylish to some, but in the winter they're the best-looking cars on the road.

parts are similarly priced to other japanese manufacturers. subaru vehicles are very well engineered and reliability is pretty much dictated by maintenance and driving style

a WRX wagon is a great winter car. practical, reliable and fast

insane resell value. in VA people try to sell them with 200k for at least 3k. and the AWD is superior to other company's. they are known for rally cars so heck yeh their reliable. import = expensive though.

Reliable & safe. l do not experience the winters that other people have mentioned ( l am Australian). But if u want to ensure reliability, do not test ur car on a Formula One circuit, test it in rallies. Subaru has won more World Rally Championships than anyone ( l think).

Safety - l owe my life to the strength of the passenger cell of a WRX (which is the same in all Imprezas), when a 40 metre (130 foot) gum tree fell on the car squashing the bonnet & boot but leaving the passenger cell intact. (It has a rally like roll cage that distributes the force down the pillars)
