Ok l posted earlier about getting either one of these cars. Now I am wondering how quick the RS is? l know WRX is insane... But how about the RS

4.2L V8

8 Cylinder, 32 Valve

420 HP 7800 RPM

Torque 317 6000 RPM

Audi RS4 is way better.

K the guy that answered before me is crazy if he thinks subaru makes a V8.

l had a 2000 RS, automatic sadly. A 4 cylinder Hyundai Tiburon could beat it 1/4 mile. Off the line it is pretty quick with the AWD, l was pulling on some turbo vehicles...until 2nd gear that is :)

Just from u comparing the 2, l can tell u like a little speed. Go for a wrx, u will have unlimited options to make it faster in the future, & is already quick stock. Whereas an RS u can only do a few bolt ons to make low gains, without an engine swap. I've owned & modded both.

Ok Audi you're a dumbass. This is the Subaru forum. He is talking about the Subaru RS, 2.5 liter non-turbo. Anyone who can afford an RS4 would probably not be comparing it to a $20,000 car. l will just say that u will be happier with a WRX (not necessarily an STi) than a RS. They have pretty limited potential, whereas the standard WRX uses the engine that the rest of the world has in their STi. The US is the only country that uses the 2.5 liter engine in their STi. Japan, Europe etc. use the 2.0 liter. Save up & get the WRX it also has a better stock suspension etc.
