Hi,

well, all car prices drop as soon as you drive it off the lot, once it is a used car, it does not matter if it is a month old or a year old, here the resale value of the car takes charge as well as the maintenance of the car, so the answer is, not really, but you can always wait for a ''end of the year'' sale of unsold new cars.

the price does not really drop but dealers will have inventory clean out sales. they want to make way for the '08 models so they will give SOME discounts on the '07. Discounts might only be 0%APR but it depends on the dealership and how much you can haggle. Body part shops should not really lower their prices because they charge by the amount of work they do and the price of the part. So, just because the '08 model is out does not necessarily mean body work will become cheap.

Most likely not significantly. STis, EVOs, & 350zs have wickedly high turnover rates (due to young people owning them), & the prices stay fairly high. The 2008 model has been bashed pretty dang harshly (assuming were getting the new body style for 08), so the previous gens wont lose much value.

the best STis of the bunch r still the 2005s though. They look better, r better to modify, & a bit quicker if l remember right.

l would buy an 06-07 EVO over an STI. The current gen STi is fugly.

yes, when they have a couple of the new ones in stock, the price will drop a few thousands. at least $2,000

Go back to when the 2006s debuted. A number of dealers actually raised prices on the outgoing models due to backlash over the new design. And since this design is even more controversial, expect much the same. So while prices normally go down when a new model is debuted, do not count on it.

that is what l am hoping for too, but from everybody i've talked to. the price will stay the same since most people do not like the 2008 body and want to get the last of the 2007s

and no clue where you live so l can only give you the guy l know. Shiv over at Vishnu Tuning in Northern Cal. He is one of the best in the country for tuning EVOs, WRXs, and STIs.

other than that, try asking at NASIOC

Subaru will not lower the price, but will offer some end of year deals. Would not expect much as there is still much demand for the 07 is and some question on the style of the '08s. However the improved performance of the '08 will quickly put them in demand!
If l were you l would wait and get the '08 so you can blow away the guys who saved a few $ for the '07 and had to spend the difference on tuning to get it to match the '08s performance out the door from the dealership!

Run fast and get the 2007 version before they go.
Because 2008 are hideous and slower and too soft.
