i'm fed up with all the impreza is are boy racers comments on here.

if you think they are for young drivers try and insure 1 yourself and see if you could've afforded 1 when you first passed your test.
drive past any town centre car park at a weekend night and see how many imprezas you see parked up (not a lot! if any)
the car parks are filled with every other type of car chaved up like the 1 is people who complain about the impreza drive

Anyone l have seen with them r generally a bit older but come on, what is the reason u get an impreza? Is it its is practicality, it is classic looks, it is sleek design? No, it is the engine is not it! So that does make owners of these cars like boy racers! And there is nothing wrong with that, do not get me wrong! It is just a stereotype really.

In my opinion l think they look very plain - they look like a proton with alloys & a spoiler! For the cost of insurance u could probably get something much sleeker & nicer! No offence, l am sure yours is lovely :)

Generally speaking, it is very hard to insure an Impreza, & as much as people think that there r loads around, like u say, there really isn't!!

And l drive one & l am a 36 yr old woman.
l am not a 'boy racer', l drive it sensibly on the road, but l drive it like l stole it around a track.which makes me a good driver that knows the limits of my car.

And as for it looking like a Proton...eh??

The Proton u r thinking of is actually the same bodyshell as a Mitsubishi Evo 2.
