I want to down size to a new smaller car..... are Subaru's good cars

WRX all the way!
YES they are good.

the Subaru Vivio is nice. it wo not go places, no oomph, seats four but rather cramped for anyone beyond 168cm, but it is a real fuel sipper. try an engine with 659cc. good city driver. and it also handles well.

PS: when l saw ''small l thought it was the type of Kei cars in Japan that have yellow plates. Yes WRX is reeaal good. can beat the crap out of European drop-top exotics.

They are GREAT cars!!

The best all wheel drive system, in my opinion.


In our family we have a 1993 Subaru Legacy with 311000 miles, a 2001 Subaru Outback with 165000 miles, a 2005 Subaru Forester Turbo with 60000 miles, and a 2006 Subaru Impreza with 20000 miles.

Not too much other than normal maintenance has been done.

l think Subaru makes the best car for its price on the market. I've driven a Subaru Legacy for almost 13 yrs and have only had to make usual repairs (clutch,brakes,etc..). l know so many people who swear by their subarus. Go for it.
