l have just put a new gear box in my Liberty and what l found when buying one is that the wrx has a completly diffrent box clutch

Yes sir. l was looking at doing that in my 00RS coupe. Do a full tranny and motor swap with front suspension upgrades(most people do this). You can find full swaps that come with wiring harness by doing a search.

yes. l just saw one the other day. i'm not completely sure if his RS was a 1997 or not but it was the EJ25 underneath that hood.
