It has 143,000 miles...how are these cars? Are they good and reliable? What about gas mileage...? It is a coupe, non-turboed, 5 speed, NO options at all...not even a tachometer...just a blank space where it should be...but it seems like a solid car, and that is what i'm looking for, something that is reliable and good on gas for now. Would you recommend this car?

This might not be the car for you, if you're looking for gas mileage and reliability. Although they arent too bad for gas mileage, subarus are expencive and hard to repair, just because of how the car is set up, subaru does things a little differently.

The real proof is this: how many imprezas of your vintage do you still see on the road today? Get a corolla, civic or sentra, that will suit your needs perfectly. l see dozens of these cars every day when l drive.

95 was a good year for that car and 2 grand is pretty cheap for a car with only 143 thousand miles, but test drive it good on the highway if is in good working order l would buy it

$2,000 is an AWESOME price for an Impreza without all those stupid breaky power options. The 5 speeds and the engines (this one probably has the EJ18 1.8 liter) are bullit proof. They are not all that hard to fix either, it is just hard to find a mechanic who knows all Subarus quirks. They are very different from any other cars, even Japanese cars in the same ''class''. l am also guessing you're not in the US, where a car like that would be next to impossible to find.
