It is nice to see a young person making good decisions and l feel you have made a good one. My cousin has an Impreza and she loves it. Very economical, nice looking and pretty much trouble free. l sold Subaru for a time and believe me they were very good cars to their owners.

l was actually offered one as a gift some years back. l turned it down and l am glad l did, they are a bit naff now. There are far better cars around anyway.

It is deffo a chav chariot that car!! Any car that has appeared, all chavved up in a need for speed game is deffo gonna be a big hit with the chavs. ooh. imagine puttin a pink playboy embelam on it too. and pink neons. totally chav it out!!

No to both questions. l think they look cheap, like nike trakkie bottoms in the 90's. Evo, ZX, Skyline. Type R civic, Now they've got class.

if l did get one, it would be an older model. My fave is a P1 or a 22B

l had one of the first ones when there were hardly any about. It was great but it was stolen & used in a ram raid. l got it back but never felt the same way about it. At about the same time several other owners in the county where l live had theirs stolen - one man was badly beaten for the keys & to be honest it just became a source of stress. l was always relieved to find it where I'd parked it!
l would agree with other in that they all seem to be owned by chavs now & have ridiculous spoilers & exhausts etc. The appeal with mine was no one knew what it was & apart from the turbo vents & inter-cooler on the bonnet looked pretty boring until some idiot in a hot hatch decided to have a go & u could leave him for dead - (especially effective on wet roundabouts as they have oodles of grip.) l have a Legacy Spec B now - not quite as fast but no slouch & similarly anonymous as the early Imprezas - still nice to see boy racers being embarrassed in front of their girl friends by a family estate!

My first car was a 1996 Subaru Impreza coupe, & I've had it up until February of this year, when some idiot hit me at a stop sign. My car was totalled so l had to purchase a new one; l now have a 2007 Impreza sedan. l absolutely love it & have nothing to complain about thus far. The model l have has a ''Special Edition'' package that includes a moon roof, MP3 jack, upgraded sound system, & climate control.

As u can tell, l love Imprezas. l think they r great-lookin g, very reliable cars. And the All-wheel drive is a big plus for me. l hope u get one! :)

personly l wouldnt buy one but they are great cars lots of power,grip and looks..may l suggest a sti.. l like evos to much if l cauld afford the insurance id have an ev or skyline.

Whoever is putting thumbs down to Subaru knows little about the quality and reliability f these cars. Subaru is are great and that why Toyota owns 10 % of them. The Impreza is a great car super AWD, handling , safety and reliability.

The most over rated rubish on the road even worse than BMW watch some rally cross and see them get shown up by old rover metros and minis. l test drove sti and was not imprezeda
