l would say pretty good, since they last a long time and are AWD. If you're selling though, I'd wait until winter so you can maximize your selling price. As the other user said, you can check Edmunds or Kelly Blue Book. They probably have stats there.

While not very scientific, l found an 05 Outback with 40K miles for $2,000 less than what l paid for my new 07. So I'd say they keep their value pretty well.

Now here a question to save $2,000 would you buy a 2 year old 40K mile car? Does not make a bit of sense to me.
