Well being familiar with the Subaru brand you can not put the fault totally on the cars. It may be partially the way the dealer treated you and it may be be you did not maintain your cars properly. You do have to change fluids and maintain them to run properly. And since you are not specific enough we can not really help. Whatever you own try getting an oil change once in awhile so you do not void the warranty. Just speculating on your lack of car care.

l have an 05 Forester, my first subaru. The quality seems fine to me. Better than the rubbish GM are coming up with over here in Australia. Subaru have an extremely good name over here.

damn the subarus, they're japanese junkies. why are subaru cheap? becoz they're junkies, why are bmw and mercedes highly prices, becos they are more reliable. simple answer for simple question. price for the quality. enough said.

OK my father, mother, wife & l all drive Subarus - various imprezas, legacys & foresters. They have all been very reliable & great cars to own. All bought from 2 small family run dealerships which have since closed down due to retirement & the ludicrous demands made by Subaru UK for their dealers to be bigger slicker operations. The result - my latest Subaru an 06 Legacy Spec B is just plain disapointing - the quality is not as good & the new slick 'big' dealer (who also sell Fiats) r a complete shambolic joke who should not be allowed to service a push bike never mind a £27K car!

if subaru are so crap why have thay won wrc so much and why have subaru been in the top 5 best cars in the world over the last 7 years the wrx is one of the best b road cars one can have try changeing the oil more and let the turbo settledown maybe you cant drivewell u muppet

well l work for subaru and l see all the service records for alot of people and they tell me one thing the are just as good or better than honda with mileage in the 175k to 250k range it says some thing and most of these cars need just regular maintanence so if you dont maintain it it will be crap to you

Better than any other car! Period! When was the last time you could change a timing belt without having to take almost the entire engine apart?? Did l forget to mention you can also change the waterpump and oil pump at the same time!!
