Why do people not buy Subaru's

l guess because they do not want to.

Maybe they do not like them.

Although l feel positive about the Subaru, l do not buy them because it seems they are overpriced.

people buy subaru's,thats how they make money,im buying one soon

insurance might be high cause they all are all wheel drive

But people DO! My brother & his wife have a Forester that they love AND, if l was working and/or in the market, I'd like to trade my wife is Volvo in for either an Outback or Forester, myself. AND, if l were younger, without kids, I'd even consider an WRX. In my opinion, Subaru is r under-rated, they seem to make decent, affordable cars, all r AWD, with safety features that come standard & would cost u that ''arm & a leg with other manufactures. l am a fan, just do not have a job or the bucks to even consider one at the moment.....but THAT is my problem & another blog!

Subaru is a bit of an unknown to most people. And even when you're around someone who does know of them, the only thing they think of is the Brat. It is a smaller car company which did not really have any broad appeal in the States until the WRX came out. Heck, l followed the WRX for years through rally & the like before it came over, & l did not have a clue what else they made. They do not heavily advertise, seeming to rely more on word of mouth, which works for them. Dealerships r fewer, so there is not one in every town, like GM, Ford, Honda, Toyota, etc., so a lot of people do not have the convenience of stopping in to try one if they r curious, which also keeps people out of them. Personally, l prefer it this way, as it is kind of like my little secret of what a great car l have...

People DO buy them, but 2006 was the first year Subaru produced even 200,000 vehicles. Chevy makes more Impala is alone than Subaru makes cars, so you do not see that many on the road most of the time.

People do buy Subarus because of the safety, reliability and durability of the cars. It has one of the best AWD systems in the world.

l rather have a Jeep

oh l do not dislike them l just love Jeeps

Most people do not know about Subarus. Those who do either have one or can not afford one. and rarely they do not want one. If you think about it, not many people are car smart e.g. People wo not buy a subaru because it is not american made.

Alot of it has to do with lack of advertising and dealer networking. l live in Orange County, california and there are only three Scooby Dealers here. There are two Honda Dealers in the city of Anaheim alone. There is about a dozen Honda dealers and about that many Toyota dealers as well. Until the Outback started the new Subaru image here in the U.S. Subaru did not really advertise very much. You will somtetimes see two Toyota commercials durindg on e advertisement break.
