What is the difference between a Subaru Impreza and a Subaru Impreza Wrx

yea what someone said an impreza is the base model tha comes with barely anything and the wrx is the turbo engine with other goodies as well

performance, fitted extras, bodykit, sound, interior styling, and twice the insurance costs.

The Subaru Impreza only has a 4-cylinder with 173 horsepower. A Subaru Impreza WRX is a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 224 horsepower. The 2008 Impreza sedan looks very ugly but the hatchback looks a bit better.

the regular wrx impreza has no turbo therefore no intercooler so it has no need for a hood scoop. u can know wht type of wrx impreza by looking at the hood. if it has a scoop it is a wrx impreza , no scoop is a regular subaru impreza & lastly the wrx impreza sti has a bigger spoiler & in older models has a bigger scoop. hope this was helpful =) in case u r not too sure what l mean : http://subaru.com/
