Does anyone know if any company is making or plans on making struts for 2006 wrx(non-sti).

Do you ever use Ebay search engine? it will show you a whole bunch of brands that fits WRX, follow those links and you will get what you are looking for.
Tein and Koni is a pretty good brand, they have WRX suspension.

l can not decypher the Tein site well, but u can drop them a line a see what they say http://tein.co.jp/e/products/index.html l am pretty sure one of my friends has Tein Flex(maybe SS) on his 07 WRX. l had Tein Flex for a while & they were great for the street & ok for mild tracking, but did not quite have the ride quality / handling l was looking for some serious asphalt chewing at the track. l recently switched to Zeal V6s with 10k/8k springs & after much tweaking my car now does what l expect it to do at the track, but it most definitely is not very street friendly.

l just called Gruppe-s & they confirmed that 02+ work for 06-07.
