l am not too good on cars.. l do not even drive, but my brother has a subaru impreza & he says it is a great car. He has never had one bit of trouble with it since he bought it.

He drove a golf before the subaru & l remember him saying that the subaru was a more in-touch-with-the-car drive. Meaning the golf was more cushy but that is not to say the subaru is not comfortable, on the contrary, l have been in the subaru lots of times & l find it really comfortable.the seats sort of mold to ur body,.Very comfortable, l really like it & it looks great.

When he bought the golf he thought he was buying a really reliable car, one he looked forward to owning, but from day one he had lots of annoying problems. l remember going on line to see if anyone else had the same problems or if that car was a lemmon.Well l could not believe all the complaints on there about it & VW did not seem bothered. One fault my brother found himself was a missing screw on the attachment of the seat belt which ment the belt was useless. l thought that was awful. It was finally a great car after wearing him out fixing all the faults & spoiling his enjoyment of a new car. He will never buy another. So much for the golf.

Now the Subaru has been A1 since day one, & looks as it did the day it came out of the showroom. Of course he takes care of it & has had it serviced when it was due.He drives a lot so likes a good reliable car that is a pleasure to drive & looks great too.. l think he has it two years now & he is talking about going on to the new Subaru. He is definitely pleased with the way it performs. Sorry l can not talk more about it but l just want to give u a broad idea of one Subaru owner is opinion.

drive a subaru sti prodrive but 2 litre .
they r nice cars , very reliable but think subarus r in genral (built like tanks ). love mine shes a beast , great to drive superb to handle at a regular speed & a fast one . dont know what else to say exept l wish they had put more thought into the subaru stereo as it is trully crap ! bad volume & crackles sometimes .
also another downside is there is no back windscreen wiper , minor thing u think but l need to see out the back when parking at home & have to use a rain away gel to keep it clear , hope this helps u fellow subaru fan .

l have an impreza 2.0 sportwagon, non turbo but upgraded exhaust
& induction kit fitted which does help the performance,+being a
5 dr it is very practical & being 4wd it handles like a dream,
verdict !
l cannot fault it , l luv it !!!!!! would recommend one anytime.

Check nasioc.com or clubwrx.net they give in depth reviews on everything including cars. They tell the good and the bad about subarus.

l have a 2001 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5. I've had it 6 years (actually 6 years today) and the only thing that has gone wrong with it was an O2 sensor and it was cheap to fix. It has been the most reliable car I've ever owned, and the one I've enjoyed the most.

Because of that reliability we also bought a 2003 Subaru Baja.

Subaru is are great little cars.

yes l have personal knowledge of subaru & their uk dealers & network its the case dealers r told to pricefix on every car which explains why prices vary dealer to non dealer frankly the impretza range is under total review out goes the non turbo range as considered under powered & not good sellers the wrx range expensive to own a guide 97p per mile resale values hold approx 58 per cent most modern cars phraps 35 per cent its all about trying before buying full inderpendent report vital due to fact out of warranty expensive to repair also parts expensive if via subaru advise caution due to all issues also possible import changes in laws
