l bought the 2.5i wagon and really should have just gone with the WRX, but the decision is made now. What upgrades can l do? l wanna get CAl for sure.

A CA l and cat back exhaust will give you a little extra push and if you purchase it from Subaru (SPT) the parts will be covered under your factory warranty and most importantly wo not void it.

No, because of the intercooler, the intake design is different. You need to get a CA l specifically made for ur car (check out a site like cobbtuning.com for performance parts for the 2.5).

As for voiding ur warranty do not sweat it. Subaru salesmen & dealers try to scare u into buying more expensive Subaru parts. It is really not necessary. Worst case scenario is that u remove ur bolt on parts (and replace them with the stock parts that u kept for just such a reason) before taking ur car in for warranty work. In many cases even this is not necessary, there r a lot of ''mod friendly'' dealers out there. When buying a new car l always like to find out how strict the dealer is with warranty work, if they r a pain about it l simply buy my car elsewhere. Even if it costs a bit more, establishing a good dealer relationship is worth it.

SPT parts r overrated & over priced.

Visit this magazine is website subiesport.com they did a project on a 2.5 RS (same as ur car but as a wagon) called ''Zero to Hero'' in which they upgraded it enough to at least be competitive with turbo'd Subies.

If l were you, I'd concentrate less on power (as it will cost a lot to get huge performance) & more on ur tires, suspension & brakes.

Oh & NO the WRX intake will NOT FIT on ur car. There r ones specifically made for u though.

yes u should have got the wrx man. l have a wrx wagon myself. ive tuned my wrx up, and l dont understand your motive with the intake. Honestly modding the intake with a cold air system on a wrx is useless. Im not sure however for the 2.5i l would bring it into a subaru import specialist, someone who does modding of subarus and ask them
