l am planing to buy a car in the next month and l am considring a 2004 or 2005 impreza or a honda civic ??? any suggestion or comments !!!!

A friend of mine has a 2002 Impreza WRX with approx 88,000 miles and never had any problems. He drives it pretty hard too. The impreza is hands down a much nicer ride than a civic.

Remember you get what you pay for a cheap car is not normally a bargain it is worth waiting for a good one and paying a bit more for a good one.

the wrx is pretty reliable, the only l hear that goes bad pretty quick is the Tranny. But a lot of pple beat the hell out of theirs. all-wheel0drive turbo is just too much fun for some.

IMO the civic is a better daily driver and gets better fuel economy, but the wrx is way more fun to drive.

The Honda Civic is one of the most reliable cars on the planet. It gets great gas mileage, cheap to own, & is built to last. But the Subaru Impreza is also extremely reliable, & should also last a very long time with minimal repairs. The Impreza also offers AWD which improves handling, & helps out tremendously if u live in a snowy winter area. The Impreza is heavier than the Civic becuase it has more safety bars around the car, it has a 5 star safety rating in all categories. It geats very decent gas mileage, but becuase of the AWD system, the Civic gets slightly better.
So both cars r great, l would recommend the Civic if u dont experience that white stuff people like to call snow, & the Impreza if u do.

l own a 2003 WRX, it has 63,000 on it right now, and l am a Subaru Factory Trained Tech. Most of the Impreza is l see in the shop are just in for regular maintenance.

AWD in the snow is the best, vs a lightweight FWD civic. Nothing wrong with civics either, depends on what you need it for. My WRX fit is 4 people fairly well, and it is still got enough power to move all four people.
