I am looking at a 2008 or later on in next year an 09 WRX (NOT STI). But I am NOT digging the fact that you can not get a sunroof. Has anyone heard about this? Why is not there one? Is there going to be one availible for the 2009 model? l know it sounds ridiculous that thats my only concern but having one in the vehicle l have now l dont think l can stray away from it.
Sorry l just wanna add that an aftermarket sunroof is unfortunetly out of the question. l need to keep my whole down payment towards the loan for the thing.

After market sunroofs are available, so do not let that be a consideration. PS.The car is fantastic according to reviews.

Keep an eye out, Subaru offers a ''Limited'' package on the WRX from time to time that comes with a sunroof and heated seats. l would recommend you wait til middle of 08..they might have it by then.

l was quoted a sunroof with my 08 Rex here in Oz. It was hugely expensive ($3500? if l remember).

The reason for it being so expensive is the roof in the rex is super re-inforced to get its 5 star safety rating. The ''standard'' sunroof has strengtheners in it l believe but the dealer was not confident it would retain all of its strength.

However, l owe my life to the roof of a WRX (when a tree fell on my car), so l decided not to mess with the strength of the roof.

Have u considered the Liberty/Legacy Spec B. Did not do it for me mainly because the six speed would drive me batty but it certainly comes with a sunroof!
