l have a legacy and it is pretty low to the ground.there are a few large speed bumps around town that it drags on.sometimes if l pull up too close to a side walk the front bumper will drag.someone told me that the outback sits 2.5 inches higher than the legacy.is this true? if it is, can l interchange the different parts obtained from a salvage yard to increase my ground clearance?
i should also add that my car is a ''legacy outback''

the out back version has more clearance than a legacy, it is similar to the forester which based on imprezza running gear my forester has about 200mm. a legacy estate has 150mm to 160mm depending on model and an out back has 200mm. check these pages subaru uk http://subaru.co.uk/Subaru_co_uk/ViewMenu.qed?menuid=M1M4M8 and http://subaru.co.uk/Subaru_co_uk/ViewMenu.qed?menuid=M1M6M8
