Okay, it is not that l do not wanna wear my seatbelt.It has to do with a load in the passenger seat.That is why l wanna disable it.l always buckle up.

l assume you mean you do not want to wear a seatbelt and the car incessantly makes noise at you because of this, right? The easiest way to go around this is go to a junkyard and buy one of the seatbelt clips, clip it into the holster and the car does not know that you are not wearing a seatbelt.

orrrrrrrrrrrrrr. you can clip your seat belt into it but put the strap that goes around your chest behind the seat and the strap that goes along your waist behind you so that you are sitting on it this way when you see a cop you can just pull the strap thats behind you over your chest againand it looks like youve been wearing it. know what l mean ?

This is what worked for my 05 Legacy. Not sure if it will work on a 07 Outback.

- Turn the key to the on position but do not start the car.

- Within 30 secs, clip/unclip seatbelt 20 times.

The will last until the computer is reset.

OK, l have a 2007 WRX, & l believe all 07s work the same way. Like a previous post said, turn the key to the on position but do not start the car. Then clip & unclip the driver is side 20 times within 30 seconds.

The seatbelt chime will ALWAYS sound the first time u start up ur car. But once u strap ur belt once, u can unclip it & it will not chime anymore. It should stay that way until u power off ur car. So do not fret if u hear the sound when starting/restarting ur car, that is normal. Hope that helps.
