im looking into buying a new car, whats so great about subaru? l keep hearing subaru is name around my friends and wanna know why people think its such a great company to buy a car from . .

Dependable, All Wheel Drive, and Gas concious (unless of course you buy an Sti or WRX)


They are made in Japan (as far as l know)..like an car from Japan they will last forever so long as you maintain the vehicle.

I'd agree with most of it. They are super reliable, get good gas mileage, awd, good safety ratings, etc. They last a good amount of time if you take care of them. And they just look nice.


And everyone still needs to get off the japanese cars being better. No car is completely made/designed/manufactured in any one country. No American car is completely American. No Japanese car is completely Japanese.

Its a great affordable sport compact car. Most if not all of their vehicles are turbocharged, so they have plenty of power. The most popular being the WRXs and STIs but the Legacy is a great car also. Go to Subaru is website and check out their product, l bet you wo not be dissapointed, well unless you are a narrow minded muscle car guy. But seriously, check them out!

Subaru is have a reputation for durability & good performance in a varitety of conditons.

Another Subaru trademark feature is their use of frameless-glass windows on the doors; a type usually used only on convertibles or some coupes, which makes a Subaru feel sportier than other sedans or wagons.

Also look at the Saab 9-2x; these r Subaru WRX is with Saab front clip, trim, & lots more sound insulation. GM has just discontinued this model, & there r good deals on the remaining dealer stock.

they have bullet proof engine and tranny. and all wheeel drive come on would you wanna drive a camry or outback???

My 2006 Subaru Outback was made in Indiana..

l do not know where the PARTS came from, but they tell me it was made in Indiana. They even put a decal showing that state on the rear window. Dave Letterman would be so proud.

Solid build quality, VERY fun to drive, lots of aftermarket parts avaliable (mostly for the WRX and WRX STi), standard full-time All Wheel Drive on every model, high saftey marks, easy to find a manual transmission (if you want a manual), gas mileage is decent if you keep it out of the boost.

Yea subarus are great cars, if serviced they keep going and going, they are ment to be one of the safest cars in it is league, l own a grand wagon, based on the legacy but has a slightly larger engine and sits a wee bit higher!
