the vtak will own you. ha. intake is worthless on your wrx, and unless you have a turboback, then exhaust does little. from a dig you will kill it, from a roll the civic may reel you in. your stock td04 turbo is a nice paperweight, but a horrible turbo. hope this helps and good luck.

These people obviously know nothing about these cars, the 2000 Civic Si is not that fast (160hp) only somewhat lightweight. intake and exhaust will only slightly improve performance when vteck kicks in. An old type R integra or the 2006 Civic Si are more realistic opponents to the wrx.

The WRX will definately decimate the Civic S l in any race stock or not. The WRX pushes 227 hp at the wheels at 6000 rpm redline STOCK. The Civic S l is quite lower with a 160 hp with a 6500 rpm redline STOCK. In any race, the driver is the ulitmate factor in any race. But the WRX also has AWD capablities so it would launch off the line faster. The Civic S l is only FWD so it will take longer for the the Civic to straighten out off the skidpad unlike the AWD launches straight because all 4 wheels r rolling. So l think with the intake & exhaust added on l am thinking the WRX will win by 3-4 car lengths.

l dont know where the guy above me is getting his info.but he dont know shit. Yes its true the Si makes 160hp (about 140hp to the wheels), but the redline is at 8000rpm (technically 7900rpm..but its close enough to call it 8k).not a weak 6500. And a WRX does not make 227hp at the wheels.it makes roughly around 175-185 at the wheels.the 227 is measured at the flywheel.

In the end.the intake & exhaust r not going to make a difference at all. The WRX will pull on the Si but it wont blow the doors off. I've raced a few WRX is with my Si back when it was pretty stock & they pulled on me but they did not get much further than a couple car lengths.
Now its a completely different story though.my Si has been extensively worked over & l blow the doors off my buddy is WRX.and just about every other one l see on the road..except for the mighty ST l is of course.
