an impreza!??!!?!? Oh,.. you are not fooling the King young man!.You want this car so you can race and whip azz out on the streets!!! There is nothing wrong with that!! Get it!!
My only suggestion to you is that you would want to get a use one under at least 20,000 so there fore all the kinks have been worked out of a brand new vehicle!! Trust me, never buy a brand new car, it will always have kinks!

l would suggest Toyota. We had Toyota cars since 1997 and we are very satisfied with it. Toyota cars are very reliable. Last year we bought used Toyota Highlander and went for the vacation from Texas to Oregon and back. We did not have any problems. For three weeks we were just getting gas. When we got back my dad changed the oil and that is it, it runs.
Good luck, Svetlana

When l bought my car, l was torn between Subaru and Honda. l ended up with the Honda: their safety rating was higher and Hondas retain their value better. l love my Honda and know several people who had a Honda, later switched to a Subaru, and wished they could get their Hondas back.
Hope that helps!

l have an 06 Subaru STI, & its by far the best car l have ever driven in my life. l do not know exactly how the 2.5i drives as far as its suspesion cause the ST l is stiffer. Subaru has always had a reputaion of having very reliable cars & its safety is very high. If you're looking to get the base 2.5i however l exactly would not go for it cause you're spending $18,000 & up for just a base model. l would at least go for the WRX which starts at about $24,000. But if you're looking to spend less than that, better gas mileage, & also a sport look l would go for the Civic S l it has a lot more interior options.

They are both good, reliable, dependable cars. The Subaru Impreza handling and safety is fantastic, good re-sale and great AWD. It might cost a bit more but it is worth it.

In both 2004 and 2005 Subaru beat out Honda and Toyota for overall reliability while the 2006 specs are not out yet l would have to figure if Subaru could do that with the huge overhaul they had in 2005 the gas mileage is something easily given up.

honda safer than subaru? uhhhhhh ok. subaru impreza has been the safest car in its class for quite awhile now. built in rollcage & a reinforced b-pillar r a couple of safety features l doubt honda comes with! plus, the awd gets u where u need to go in inclement weather without any hassle! subaru holds it value just as well if not better than most other imports. subaru really was not popular until the wrx & sti models came to the u.s., so of course people wo not know much about them!
